Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk

The most visited place on the Rainbow Coast, the Valley of the Giants Treetop Walk  allows you to experience the wonder of the gigantic tingle trees.  Walking upon a well-constructed contained walkway at canopy height (40m!), the view is absolutely breathtaking.

William Bay National Park

The pristine clear water of William Bay National Park combined with the interesting rock formations and the calm conditions, make this the ideal place to rest, picnic and swim. Walking trails abound for those with a little more energy.

Bush Walking

The diversity of ecosystems in this wonderful stretch of coastline and the mild climate make bushwalking a very pleasant way to enjoy the National Parks in the area.

Wild Flowers

If you visit Denmark between mid winter and late summer you will find an incredible array of delicate wildflowers. In season, the forest is ablaze with orchids, purple native wisteria and green kangaroo paw

Whale Watching

Southern Whales and Humpback Whales can be sighted from July to October as they migrate along the southern coast


Walk just across the road and hit local surf beach Ocean Beach. If surfing is new to you, don’t worry, lessons are available!

Bird watching

Over 160 species of birdlife can be found in the Denmark area. Wilson Inlet is a popular spot for many migratory birds and sea eagles, hawks and ospreys can also be seen. Wilson Inlet is also a breeding area for WA’s black swan.

Fishing & Boating

Denmark’s coast, inlets and river areas provide plenty of options for the angler and going to sea provides real opportunities for catching the ‘big one’

Denmark has every type of food and drink your taste buds may desire. Wineries abound and many have delightfully positioned restaurants, so you can enjoy the finest local produce and views simultaneously.  Stop into the Boston Brewery Company for a pint and a delightful meal!
